The route's UNESCO highlight. On the first Wednesday of the month or in heavy rain it is closed, and the tour visits Micheon Cave at Ilchul Land — another lava tube — instead.

Seongsan Ilchulbong
UNESCO Tuff Cone — admission included, summit climb optional · 45 min
Time at Seongsan Ilchulbong, the 5,000-year-old tuff cone rising straight from the sea. Climbing to the summit is optional — your own choice, at your own pace within the stop. If you do not climb, enjoy free time at the base and along the shore, with views of the crater wall.
