What is included and what you pay directly

Included: private vehicle and driver-guide for your group only · pickup and drop-off in Busan · tolls, parking and fuel · booking fee.

Included

  • Included: private vehicle and driver-guide for your group only · pickup and drop-off in Busan · tolls, parking and fuel · booking fee.
  • Entrance fees on these routes are modest and several of the best stops are free — Gamcheon and Dakbatgol villages, the UN Memorial Cemetery, Haeundae Beach, the markets and the Songdo skywalk all cost nothing to enter.
  • Your driver-guide can queue and pay on your behalf where that is faster, and you settle in cash on the day.

Not included

  • Not included: entrance fees and ride tickets at the stops you choose · meals and drinks · the Sky Capsule ticket on Route 2 · personal expenses · gratuities · travel insurance.
  • Not included: optional add-ons and time extensions arranged during the tour — these are paid in cash to your guide on the day.

Why this tour suits you

Who this cadence suits and how the day is sequenced.

  • Families and multi-generational groups — one vehicle, no transfers, no walking between stations
  • Couples and small groups who would rather decide the day than follow one
  • Travellers with one day in Busan who need the route to be efficient rather than democratic
  • Anyone with pace, mobility or dietary requirements a fixed group tour cannot accommodate
  • Arrival or departure days, using the Gimhae Airport add-on instead of a wasted half-day
  • Solo travellers on a tight budget — a per-person join-in tour will be cheaper
  • Groups who want the structure and commentary of a guided group departure
  • Parties of more than 14, which need a coach rather than two vehicles

Families: Fits depend on this route’s stops and pacing—see the day-flow and practical sections for age notes.Seniors: Comfort levels vary by segment; use lighter options where offered and confirm walking expectations for this itinerary.

Why a charter, and not a seat on a bus

Busan is spread out

The sea temple is in the north-east, Gamcheon in the west, Songdo further south again — with bridges, coastal roads and one-way downtown streets in between. A private vehicle turns the transfers into part of the day instead of the cost of it.

Edits do not re-quote

Skip a stop, add one, sit longer over lunch. The price is set by hours and vehicles, so changing the route changes nothing on the invoice.

The clock is yours

Start at 07:00 to have the sea temple almost to yourself, or at 11:00 because you have a late morning. A group departure cannot do either.

How the price works

Per vehicle, per hour

5 to 9 hours, US$265. One to seven guests pay the same, so a family of five pays a fifth each of what a couple pays between them.

Eight or more is two cars

There is no larger single vehicle on this product. Eight guests and up are quoted as two vehicles — twice the rate for the same hours — and travel together.

Add-ons are named, not hidden

Gimhae Airport pickup or drop-off US$35, a Gyeongju day US$55, each hour past 9 US$35. Entrance fees and meals are paid directly at the stops you choose.

What the driver-guide handles

Parking, tickets and queues

Parking is included and arranged. Where a ticket queue is the slow part — the Sky Capsule especially — the driver-guide sorts it while you wait in the shade.

A realistic plan, said out loud

If your list does not fit the hours you booked, you will be told before the day, not discovered at 16:00. That honesty is the point of confirming the route in advance.

Lunch that suits your group

Tell the driver-guide what you eat — seafood, pork soup, vegetarian, halal, no spice for the children — and lunch is chosen near where you already are.

Seasonal variations

How this route feels through the year.

Spring (Mar–May)

Summer (Jun–Aug)

Autumn (Sep–Nov)

Winter (Dec–Feb)

  • Pickup is at your accommodation anywhere in central Busan — Seomyeon, Haeundae, Nampo-dong, Busan Station and the surrounding districts — at a start time you choose. Outlying areas are usually fine; we confirm at booking.
  • Your booked hours start at the confirmed pickup time and end at drop-off, not at the first or last sightseeing stop. Driving between stops is part of the day.
  • Drop-off is anywhere in Busan: back at your hotel, at a different hotel if you are moving on, at Busan Station, or at a restaurant for the evening.
  • Gimhae International Airport pickup or drop-off is available as a paid add-on — see the add-ons section.
  • One price per vehicle, not per person: 5 hours US$265 · 6 hours US$265 · 7 hours US$265 · 8 hours US$265 · 9 hours US$265, for 1 to 7 guests.
  • A group of one pays the same as a group of seven — the charge is for the car and the driver-guide, so the more of you there are, the less it costs each.
  • 8 guests or more need a second vehicle, and the price is simply twice the figure above for the same number of hours.
  • Time beyond 9 hours is charged per extra hour and is subject to driver availability — please ask at booking rather than on the day.
  • Gimhae Airport pickup or drop-off adds US$35. A Gyeongju day adds US$55. Each hour past 9 adds US$35.
  • Airport transfer: useful on an arrival or departure day — collect your luggage, spend the day in Busan, and finish at the airport instead of doubling back to a hotel.
  • Gyeongju: the old Silla capital is about 70 minutes from Busan by road. Added to a charter it becomes a full day out — Bulguksa, the royal tombs at Daereungwon, and Hwangnidan-gil — and needs 9 hours or more to be worth doing.
  • All add-ons are arranged at booking so the driver's day is planned around them.
  • The three routes are starting points, not fixed products. Add, drop, reorder or replace any stop.
  • Send changes at booking or any time up to 24 hours before, and the driver-guide confirms a revised order and tells you honestly what will and will not fit.
  • On the day, the order can still shift for weather, crowds or simply because everyone wants to stay somewhere longer.
  • Changing the route does not change the price. What you pay is set by the number of hours and the number of vehicles, not by where you go.
  • Sedan or SUV for 1 to 3 guests; a mid-size van for 4 to 7. The vehicle is yours alone — no other bookings share it.
  • Drivers are licensed, insured and speak English. Chinese-speaking drivers can usually be requested at booking; other languages depend on availability.
  • Child seats can be arranged free of charge if you tell us the ages when you book.
  • Luggage is fine for airport transfers, but a full van of guests plus a full set of large cases will not fit — tell us the case count and we will send the right vehicle.
  • Included: private vehicle and driver-guide for your group only · pickup and drop-off in Busan · tolls, parking and fuel · booking fee.
  • Not included: entrance fees and ride tickets at the stops you choose · meals and drinks · the Sky Capsule ticket on Route 2 · personal expenses · gratuities · travel insurance.
  • Out-of-hours surcharge: a start before 07:00 or a finish after 20:00 adds a per-hour surcharge, paid on the day.
  • Cancellation: free up to 24 hours before the charter starts. Inside 24 hours the booking is non-refundable.
  • Destinations outside Busan other than Gyeongju are quoted separately — ask before booking.
  • This charter suits groups who want to decide their own day. If you would rather be told where to go and pay less, our join-in Busan day tours cover Routes 1 and 3 at a per-person price.

Questions

The few questions that usually decide it.

One to seven guests travel in one vehicle at one price — a sedan or SUV for one to three, a mid-size van for four to seven. The price does not change with the number of guests, so a family of six pays the same total as a couple. From eight guests we send a second vehicle and the price is twice the single-vehicle rate for the same hours.

Your hours run from the confirmed pickup time to drop-off, including the driving between stops. Charters are sold in 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9-hour blocks. If you want longer than 9 hours, each extra hour is US$35 and needs to be arranged at booking rather than on the day, because it depends on the driver's schedule.

Yes — that is what the product is for. The three routes are the real itineraries of Busan tours we already run, offered as starting points. Add, drop, reorder or replace any stop, mix stops between routes, or send a completely different list. Changes are free and can be sent up to 24 hours before; the route can still shift on the day for weather or crowds.

Yes, as a paid add-on of US$35 for either direction. It is a common way to use an arrival or departure day: collect your luggage, spend the booked hours in Busan, and finish at the airport instead of returning to a hotel first.

Yes, as a US$55 extension. Gyeongju is about 70 minutes from Busan by road, so it becomes a full day out rather than an afternoon — Bulguksa temple, the royal tomb park at Daereungwon and the Hwangnidan-gil lanes are the usual shape. Book 9 hours or more for it to be comfortable.

No. The charter covers the vehicle, the driver-guide, fuel, tolls and parking. Entrance fees, ride tickets such as the Sky Capsule, and meals are paid directly at the stops you choose. Several of the best stops on these routes are free to enter, including both mural villages, the UN Memorial Cemetery, the markets and the Songdo skywalk.

English, on every charter. A Chinese-speaking driver-guide can usually be requested at booking. Other languages depend on availability on your date, so please ask before booking rather than after.

This was worth booking! i initially booked for english speaking. Our tour guide, Mr. Park had communicated ahead that he has a hard time with English and was assigned to us. He was willing to customize our experience despite package listed as per our request! He also assisted us on every attraction and restaurant that we went to. we had the chance to see Cherry blossoms, Arte Museum, Gamcheon Village, Nampo-dong, Songdo, and a little extra to see the night view of Busan. He also helped us pick iut restaurants for our lunch and dinner, and made sure we were assisted on every attraction ticketing. He was respectful and very patient! Aloha and Mahalo!
