Cruise terminals at Incheon are 50 km from central Seoul. Public transit means a taxi to Incheon Airport, then the AREX train, then a subway line, then walking — easily 90+ minutes each way and a real risk if delayed. A private car is direct, door-to-door, and your luggage stays in the vehicle if you want.

The driver-guide tracks the cruise schedule and adjusts pickup time accordingly. If the delay is significant (over 2 hours), the day's itinerary may need to be shortened — your guide will recommend the best subset to fit the remaining window.
Gyeongbokgung is closed on Tuesdays. If your port day falls on Tuesday, the substitute is Changdeokgung Palace and its UNESCO-listed Secret Garden (Huwon) — equally worth the visit, sometimes preferred by repeat visitors.
Generally no — DMZ tours from Incheon are tight on time (DMZ is ≈ 50 km north of Seoul, the cruise terminal is ≈ 50 km west). For most cruise schedules, a DMZ + Seoul highlights combo doesn't fit. If your port call is 10+ hours and you want DMZ-only, ask in advance — a separate Incheon-DMZ private tour is offered.
You provide the ship name, port-call date, expected arrival time, and all-aboard time at booking. The guide cross-checks against the published cruise itinerary and the Incheon Port Authority's daily schedule. Any change communicated by your cruise line should also be relayed to the guide via WhatsApp.
The tour runs in light rain. In a typhoon or heavy snow, the itinerary shifts indoors (palace covered halls, Jogyesa, Myeongdong's underground arcade, museum stops). The driver carries umbrellas. Outright cancellation only if a typhoon also cancels your ship's port call.
