The 1100 Highland is a short, flat boardwalk; Seongeup and Hamdeok are flat. Jusangjeolli has steps down to the viewing deck and Cheonjeyeon has stairs between its pools.
Manjanggul is about 2 km in and back on a flat, newly paved but damp cave walkway at 11–13 °C, so bring a layer.
The Seongsan Ilchulbong summit climb is optional: about 25 minutes each way on steep stairs. Guests who do not climb have free time in the free-access area at the base.
Not suitable for wheelchair users. Infant car seats are not available on this shared bus.

The haenyeo show is held once a day at 14:00 on the Umutgae shore below Seongsan Ilchulbong: the divers sing and dance, then go into the sea to dive.
It is outdoors and cancelled when the sea is too rough.
On days the show is cancelled the tour visits the Haenyeo Museum in Hado-ri instead (admission included).
On the museum's closed days (Mondays, 1 January, Seollal and Chuseok) the time is added to the Seongsan stop and you are told in the morning.
Lunch is at Seongsan (own expense), in the free time between arrival at about 12:55 and departure at 15:30. Your guide points out local restaurants near the entrance.
Seongeup Folk Village is a short stop for photos and restrooms only — at midday its restaurants are reserved for large tour groups.
Bring cash or a card for lunch and the optional Seongsan summit ticket.
The tour does not run on the first Monday of each month (the Seongsan Ilchulbong summit trail is closed) or the first Wednesday (Manjanggul is closed); those dates are closed in the booking calendar.
In snow or ice the road to the 1100 Highland can be closed; the bus then goes straight to the south coast and you are told in the morning.

The 1100 Highland, Jusangjeolli and Cheonjeyeon are all on the south-west side and are reached one after another in the morning, before the midday coach traffic.

Hallasan's highland, Seongsan Ilchulbong and the Manjanggul lava tube are all part of Jeju's UNESCO natural heritage.
Manjanggul admission is included; the Seongsan summit ticket is optional and not included.
On the way back the bus stops at Dongmun Market, then the same three points as the morning: Ocean Suites, the Airport and Shilla Duty Free.
